New London Skyline

Finally, Renzo Piano’s Shard has been topped-out and almost looks complete, at least from some angles.

I think it’s a striking addition to the London Skyline and certainly improves the view of Tower Bridge, distracting the eye away from the ugly Guy’s Hospital building.

This was taken at sunset on a very hot summer’s day. The formerly quiet part of the river now thronging with people enjoying the view.
